Precipitating phosphorus at the inflow to the water reservoir reduces the nutrient load and turbidity of the water and increases the transparency of the water column. By dosing a coagulant, dissolved phosphorus and phytoplankton are removed. Our TecPHOS™ phosphorus precipitation station can do this intelligently and automatically.
When precipitating phosphorus at the inlet, very small doses of coagulant are applied using a dosing pump into the inflow watercourse. Dosing is carried out over a longer period of time, usually from the spring filling of the reservoir until the end of the growing season.
An automatic precipitation unit is installed at the inlet to the water reservoir, equipped with a coagulant storage tank, a dosing pump, a control unit enabling remote control, and probes for continuous monitoring of the basic parameters of the inflowing water (pH, temperature, conductivity, dissolved oxygen concentration, and ORP).
Thanks to the use of our monitoring systems, you can proactively and timely make informed decisions and implement effective preventive measures. The data is then transmitted via a mobile network to our servers, from which it is accessible through an information visualisation system.
TecPHOS™ technology is equipped with an advanced measurement and control system (MaR) and the Tecomat control system. This ensures reliable operation not only today, but also in the future.
